Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Omnible Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") and users of the LiterMark service (hereinafter "the Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the text-based encryption (message concealment) web application provided by the Company.
- "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Credits" means the virtual units charged and used to access paid features within the Service.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise communicated to users.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law and will give notice at least 7 days before the effective date of any changes.
Article 4 (Scope of Service)
- Encryption (embedding) functionality to conceal secret messages within text
- Decryption (decoding) functionality to restore concealed messages
- Credit top-up and management functionality
Article 5 (Registration and Withdrawal)
- Users apply for membership by completing the registration form with the required information.
- Members may request to withdraw at any time, and the Company will process the request promptly.
- Upon withdrawal, remaining credits are forfeited and are not refundable.
Article 6 (Credits and Payment)
- Credits are prepaid points used to access paid features within the Service.
- Credit top-ups are processed via electronic payment through TossPayments.
- Refunds of charged credits are handled in accordance with applicable law (e.g., the E-Commerce Act).
- Unused credits expire 3 months after the last top-up date.
Article 7 (Cancellation and Refund)
- Credits are classified as digital content access rights under Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Cancellation and refund requests are processed according to the following criteria.
- Full Refund: If no credits have been used (e.g., for embedding) after the top-up, a full refund may be requested within 7 days from the payment date.
- Refund Limitation: If one or more credits have been used, the service is deemed to have commenced and the right to cancel is restricted (Article 17, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 5 of the E-Commerce Act).
- The Company clearly notifies users about refund restrictions on the top-up page before payment.
- Refund requests are accepted via the Privacy Officer's email (ceo@omnible.co.kr) and will be refunded to the original payment method within 3 business days of receipt.
- Credits granted free of charge upon registration, as event or referral rewards, or through other non-paid means are excluded from refund eligibility.
Article 8 (User Obligations)
- Users must not use the Service for illegal purposes.
- Users must not collect or use the personal information of others without authorization.
- Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
- Users bear full responsibility for the content and use of messages created through the Service.
Article 9 (Company Obligations)
- The Company will make its best efforts to provide stable service.
- The Company does not store users' message content, passwords, or other personal data on its servers.
- The Company will not engage in activities prohibited by applicable law and these Terms.
Article 10 (Service Restriction and Suspension)
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of system maintenance, replacement, failure, or force majeure.
- The Company may restrict service access or delete accounts if a user violates these Terms.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
- The Company does not guarantee the content of messages created through the Service, their delivery results, or compatibility on third-party platforms.
- The Company is not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties.
- The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)
Disputes arising in relation to these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Addendum
These Terms of Service take effect on March 1, 2026.
